Events Administrator, Central London, Part time: 21 hours per week, Temporary assignment 5 months, starting November, £17 per hour plus holiday pay.
An Events Administrator is required to support the Communications & Engagement team of a leading London university in delivering a flagship Graduation event in 2026.
You will manage event administration, liaise with graduates, colleagues and external suppliers, and produce high-quality communications and event materials. You will also maintain databases, upload content to digital channels, and ensure all activities run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a first point of contact for queries via departmental mailboxes.
- Uploading clear and engaging content across web and communication channels.
- Processing and managing large sets of data related to event activities.
- Producing branded event materials such as invitations, brochures, and briefings.
- Supporting the Events Team in delivering a successful Graduation event.
- Undertaking additional tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the team.
The ideal candidate you will have:
- Proven experience in event management
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in IT systems, including web editing tools and databases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience supporting graduation ceremonies is desirable, but not essential.
