Executive Assistant
Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2027, £32,800 FTE, 3 - 5 days per week, Hybrid with Central London offices
A national charity dedicated to promoting social prescribing and supporting wellbeing is seeking an organised, proactive Executive Assistant to join its operations team. This role provides high-level support to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, contributing to smooth organisational delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.

The Executive Assistant will play a key part in ensuring efficient leadership support, strong governance processes, and well-coordinated operations. This role is offered either full or part-time, depending on your needs.
Role Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Manage complex diaries and inboxes for senior leaders
- Coordinate senior meetings, including agendas, minutes and document preparation
- Support the development of presentations, board papers and briefing materials
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide scheduling support for wider organisational meetings
Board & Governance
- Lead administrative support for the Board of Trustees and Subcommittees
- Prepare and collate Board papers, track actions and take formal minutes
- Maintain governance processes such as conflicts of interest registers
- Coordinate logistics for meetings and support trustee recruitment
Operations & Office Management
- Support organisational planning, logistics and shared processes
- Manage the relationship with the Southbank Centre workspace, including room bookings
- Contribute to improving operational systems and organisational culture
- Provide cover for shared mailboxes and operational colleagues
Candidate Profile
- Experience providing high-level EA or PA support
- Strong skills in diary management and formal meeting administration
- Confidence in minute-taking and summarising key actions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Competence in Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint
- An interest in wellbeing, social impact or the charity sector
Experience in charity governance, the VCFSE sector or social prescribing is desirable but not essential.
